Celebrating its 29th Year of Fear, The Darkness is rated as one of the best haunted houses in America. Visitors can experience a variety of terror attractions, including a two-floor haunted house, a 3D experience called Terror Visions, a monster museum, a horror retail store, multiple outdoor “scarezones,” and an escape room. The Darkness offers different ticket packages with optional add-ons for guests. Tickets are non-refundable, but you can transfer them to another guest. Here’s what you need to know about each package:

Timed ticket

It costs $30 per guest to buy a timed ticket. This ticket allows you to pick a time and date to visit The Darkness. This means you enter the queue line for the attraction at your chosen time on the date you selected. The purpose of this is to reduce wait times for entering the attraction. Add-on options for this ticket package include:

  • Speed Pass add-on for $10 per ticket.
  • Collector t-shirt for $18 per ticket.
  • Five-minute escape room experience for $5 per ticket.
  • Ticket insurance for $7.50 per ticket.

Any Night Ticket

This ticket costs $35 and allows you to enter the attraction on any night of your choosing without having to commit to a pre-scheduled time and date. Dates for this ticket option run from Sept. 1 to Nov. 15. Guests can choose add-on options like:

  • Five-minute escape room experience for $5 per ticket.
  • Speed pass for $10 per ticket.

Immediate Access Ticket

Skip the exterior queue line by purchasing an immediate access ticket. This ticket option costs $60, but you can use it on any night of your choosing during the 2022 Halloween season to enter the attraction immediately. This means no waiting in the main line to get in, though visitors still go through the attraction’s interior queue line, which is part of the experience. Optional add-ons for this ticket package include:

  • Collector t-shirt for $18 per ticket.
  • Five-minute escape room experience for $5 per ticket.

Lemp Brewery Haunted House

The Lemp Brewery Haunted House is sure to make you and your friends scream this Halloween season. It features the House of the Occult, which includes an extensive maze filled with terrifying monstrosities. This seasonal haunted house experience is only open for ten nights in 2022, from Oct. 7 to 31, so plan your visit early to make sure you get to participate. The Lemp Brewery Haunted House is approximately 30 minutes from Herculaneum.

The Lemp Haunted House offers limited tickets through the Halloween season. Here are the ticket options:

Timed Ticket

When you purchase a timed ticket, you choose a time and date to arrive at the attraction. You can purchase this ticket for $25 online or at the box office. You also have the option of purchasing a speed pass for an additional $10 online or $15 at the box office, which lets you skip the exterior line. Guests can also purchase ticket insurance for $7.50.

Any Night Ticket

You can choose to purchase an any night ticket for $30. This ticket allows you to visit the attraction on any open night without pre-scheduling a time and date. Like the timed ticket, you can optionally add a speed pass to your ticket for $10 online or $15 at the box office.

Immediate Access Ticket

The immediate access ticket lets you skip the line at the front of the attraction. When you arrive with this ticket, a staff member will walk you to the front door of the haunted house. You don’t need to pre-schedule a time or date to use this ticket. It costs $50 per guest.

Creepyworld

The Creepyworld haunted screampark  is one of the largest and longest haunted attractions in America. It features 13 haunted attractions, including haunted hay rides, extensive mazes, and its signature Monster Midway, which has Halloween displays, a gift shop, character actors, and a drive-in theater. New this year is Creepyworld’s Jack O’ Lantern Spooktacular. The Spooktacular includes Halloween scenes, light shows, and over 2,500 carved pumpkins. Creepyworld is located approximately 48 minutes from Herculaneum.

The ticket options for Creepyworld fall into three categories, and guests can purchase passes for the Jack O’ Lantern Spooktacular by adding them to their Creepyworld ticket or buying them separately. Here’s each ticket option:

Jack O’ Lantern Spooktacular Ticket

You can visit the Spooktacular without buying tickets for the full Creepyworld experience most nights. However, guests need to buy a Creepyworld ticket to attend the Spooktacular on the nights of Oct. 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, and 29. Tickets for the Spooktacular cost $10.

Timed Ticket

The timed ticket for Creepyworld functions like the timed ticket options for the other events. Guests choose a time and date to attend the event when they select this ticket. It costs $30.

Park Pass

Choosing the Creepyworld park pass includes the cost of participating in the Jack O’ Lantern Spooktacular and the haunted hay ride. This is also a type of timed ticket, so guests need to pick a time and date to visit the attraction. This option costs $40.

Any Night Ticket

Guests can pick the any night ticket to visit the attraction on any night that it’s open. This means you don’t have to pre-schedule a time and date to attend. Purchasing an any night ticket costs $35.

Immediate Access

If you want to skip the main line, you can choose the immediate access ticket. With this ticket, the event’s security staff will walk you past the line and directly into the first maze. This ticket is $60.
