New for Murano
There aren't any major design upgrades for the new model-year, but the new Murano gives you plenty to play with in its updated cabin, including a redesigned center console, a new standard panoramic sunroof on the top trim level, and new standard safety features--including automated emergency braking and forward-collision warning. The new Murano also brings standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and some very surprising new standard features that can be found across the lineup.
Standard Equipment & Safety
Passenger Comfort and Technology Features
St. Louis drivers want to get a great value for their money--and if you can shop over the $30,000 mark, the Nissan Murano gives you a laundry list of standard features on even its base model, including a broad and crisp 8.0-inch touchscreen featured front and center in a convenient spot. The infotainment system now supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as standard to help keep you connected to your media, apps,
And speaking of connection--the directionally-challenged among us will love the new standard Navigation system on the cushy and premium Nissan Murano. No more fighting with Apple Maps, no more pulling over to ask for directions--or, no more getting the silent treatment from your partner when you refuse to pull over for directions.
On select upper-level trims, the Murano adds even more standard features to remain one of the most well-equipped and well-balanced options on the market, offering comfort and tech features like an auto-dimming rearview mirror (you don't realize how easy this makes nighttime driving until you've tried it--and then you'll never be able to go back!), a hands-free power rear liftgate that you can open with a wave of your foot, heated front and rear seats, and even a heated steering wheel.
Driver-Assistance Technology and Safety Systems
Nissan really went in hard on equipping its newest Murano to be the safest midsize SUV it could be. For the new model, as mentioned above, both automated emergency braking and forward-collision warning come standard along with a rearview camera. Nissan has also added blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert on the midrange model to help improve your peripheral view of the environment, and an adaptive cruise control system (can monitor your speed and adjust as necessary to help keep you paced with traffic) is standard on top-tier trim levels.
Nissan's Intelligent Around View Monitor--a class-leading 360-degree vehicle camera option--is available on the new Murano to give you unparalleled command of the road, vehicles, and obstacles all around you.Â
